Dovetail & Slate’s Education Employment Survey Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open only to legal residents of the United Kingdom who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Only employees currently working in or who have previously worked within an education role are eligible to enter. This Giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participation constitutes each entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

This Giveaway begins on 4th March 2024, at 08:00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time (“GMT”) and ends on 4th April 2024 (the “Promotion Period”).
You must be currently working, or have previously worked within an education role, and answer the survey questions as accurately as possible.
On 4th April 2024, four survey participant submissions will be chosen at random, and each will win a £250 voucher. One voucher per person; duplicate pages per submission will not be eligible. Dovetail & Slate will award the £250 voucher to each winner within 14 days of the winner being announced.
Survey submissions will be received from 4th March 2024, at 08:00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time. Dovetail & Slate will award a £250 donation to each of the four qualifying survey participants within 14 days of the closing date of the competition. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or any other prize. All prize details not specified in these Official Rules will be determined at Dovetail & Slate’s sole discretion. No prize substitution is permitted. The prize is non-transferable. Limit: One (1) prize per person during the Promotion Period.
Upon confirmed survey submission, Dovetail & Slate will make available information indicating that a valid Competition and granting of the prizes took place.
The three winners will be asked to engage in reasonable post-event publicity which may include the use of the entrant’s and/or the winner’s name, likeness, photograph, and/or videos, in any media, worldwide. This will be done without payment to the entrant or winner, or approval by them of any advertising or marketing materials. By participating in this Survey, each entrant and winner gives their express permission for Dovetail & Slate to carry out the publicity described in this clause. If any entrant or winner objects to any or all of their surname, county, or winning entry being published or made available in accordance with this condition 10, please contact info@dovetailslate.co.uk. In such circumstances, Dovetail & Slate must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.In no event shall Dovetail & Slate be required to award more than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded. Dovetail & Slate reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Dovetail & Slate in its sole discretion. In such an event, Dovetail & Slate, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. Dovetail & Slate reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Dovetail & Slate reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Dovetail & Slate’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Insofar as permitted by law and without affecting any statutory rights, Dovetail & Slate, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliated and group companies, will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate, or accept any liability, to any entrant, any winner or potential winner, or anyone else who has participated in this Giveaway or otherwise, for: any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants or programming associated with or used in the Giveaway, or otherwise; technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Giveaway; technical or human error occurring in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of entries; late, lost, undeliverable, damaged, misdirected, incorrect, incomplete entries, or Giveaway notifications; any claims or causes of action based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy; any monetary loss, costs or expenses or any loss or damage to property caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Giveaway or receipt, use, loss, misdirection, or misuse of the prize; or any personal injury, death, or loss or damage to persons caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Giveaway or receipt, use, loss, misdirection, or misuse of the prize, except where caused by the negligence of Dovetail & Slate or its employees.
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Giveaway, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (2) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
