Ruby is the office matriarch. She is meticulous, innovative, flexible and helpful – we can always count on her to be there to pick up the pieces when we need her. She thrives in a fast paced environment and her immaculate attention to detail is put to good use ensuring that all candidate vetting is carried out thoroughly. As sweet as she is, she holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do (you’ve been warned) which helps her to keep everyone in check; the recruiters, the candidates and clients alike because although she’s never had to use her martial arts skills, no one wants her to either.
Billy looks after the Trades and Labour recruitment department at Dovetail and Slate, with a background in construction, he provides a rare, unparalleled insight into the briefs provided to us by our clients. He understands the challenges our clients have often faced when carrying out their recruitment internally and why it is so vital to find candidates that are not just skilled, but registered, referenced, reliable and most importantly, ready to work hard. Elliott originally wanted to be a pilot achieving both his private pilot & Gliders License, and although he’s had a change in career route, it’s still been high-flying. Today he gets satisfaction from helping his clients to realize the sky is the limit when it comes to their careers and knowing the contribution he makes towards crafting the next generation. He’s maintained a passion for helping people make positive transformations in their life, starting his career as a personal trainer before making the transition into recruitment.

After a stint living in sunny Australia, Max decided to swap the daily BBQ’s for Banksy, and returned to Bristol. Upon returning to the U.K, Max worked as a logistics coordinator where he acquired strong analytical and project management skills, along with understanding the importance of managing processes, ensuring they’re robust and efficient for both the company, and clients. He now applies these skills to finding the perfect professional for your educational institute, ensuring a great client and candidate experience. He thrives off the unlimited potential that his job offers and the ultimate satisfaction of finding people the perfect role.
Working as a taxi driver for 20 years helped Kamel to develop flawless communications skills through building rapports with his passengers which he now uses building successful relationships with clients and candidates.
