English Teacher (Temporary)
Position: English Teacher
Start Date: Thursday, 19th September 2024
End Date: Friday, 20th December 2024
Pay: £110.00 – £202.08 per day
Location: Winchester
A well-regarded secondary school is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher for a temporary position starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons to students and supporting their academic progress throughout the autumn term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons following the school’s curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Help students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Enhanced DBS/ Update Service
