I’m currently working in partnership with a fantastic further education provider in Gloucestershire who are on the lookout for a Lecturer in Games Design to join their dynamic and forward-thinking Computing department.

The basics:
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Bonus: £4,000 joining bonus (paid after 12 months’ service)
Contract: Full-time (37 hrs/week) – part-time applicants also welcome
This is an exciting opportunity to support learners in one of the most creative, fast-evolving sectors in education. You’ll deliver and assess technical skills across areas like:
- Graphic and lens-based media
- Text and interactive experience
- Sound design and moving image
- Character and environment development
You’ll also guide learners in developing strong portfolios of work, aligned with real industry practices and standards. The role is ideal for someone passionate about the intersection of education and the creative tech world – someone who can challenge and inspire learners to reach their full potential.
