🎓 What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging, high-quality Maths lessons tailored to meet individual student needs.
- Supporting students with special educational needs and adapting lessons for differentiated learning.
- Using creativity to bring Maths to life both inside and outside the classroom.
- Supporting learners emotionally as well as academically, with a trauma-informed approach.
- Contributing to school development and the wider Progress Schools group.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- A degree in a relevant subject (Maths or SEN).
- A teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or willingness to work towards one.
- At least a Grade 4/C in Maths or higher.
- Prior experience working in a school environment, ideally at the secondary level.
- Strong engagement and behaviour management skills.
- An understanding of alternative provision and working with students with additional needs.
- A clear commitment to safeguarding, equality, and promoting British values.
📎 Desirable but Not Essential
- Specialist SEN Teaching Qualifications.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching practices.
- Experience in delivering qualifications in alternative or vocational pathways.
