We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Functional Skills Tutor to join a large, well-established private training provider supporting apprenticeships in the Army. This is a full-time role with flexible working hours and the option for hybrid work, offering a rewarding and disciplined environment where you can truly make an impact.

Role Details:

• Position: Functional Skills Tutor
• Location: Hybrid work available with some on-site requirements
• Hours: Full-time with flexible working hours
• Salary: £29,993.60 per annum
• Start Date: ASAP

As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English and Maths support to apprentices in the Army. This role offers the chance to work in a more structured and disciplined environment, ideal for educators who may feel unsupported in traditional classrooms and are seeking a more focused setting.

Essential Requirements:

• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
• Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, CertED, PGCE, or DTLLS)
• Previous teaching experience or a passion for supporting learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver functional skills education (English and Maths) to apprentices in the Army
• Support apprentices in achieving their qualifications and progressing in their apprenticeships
• Develop engaging and effective learning resources
• Provide one-on-one support and feedback to learners
