Are you an experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration professional ready to pass on your expertise? We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Assessor to join our team in Nottingham to support and guide the next generation of HVAC engineers.
🔧 About the Role:
As an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Assessor, you’ll play a vital role in the development of apprentices and learners. You’ll assess both practical and theoretical competencies, provide feedback, and help shape confident, job-ready professionals in a thriving industry.
✅ Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality assessments for Level 2 and Level 3 learners

Observe and assess learners in workplace and simulated settings

Provide clear, constructive feedback and support learner progression

Maintain accurate records in line with awarding body requirements

Liaise with employers to coordinate visits and ensure training aligns with industry standards
🎓 What You’ll Need:
-
Industry experience in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (F-Gas certification required)

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)

Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, D32/33) or willingness to work towards it (support provided)

Strong communication, organisation, and mentoring skills
