Full-Time | Permanent | £42,000 – £52,000 DOE
35 hours per week
An exciting opportunity is available for experienced electrical professionals to move into a specialised assessment role at a leading vocational training provider. This organisation supports thousands of apprentices and employers across the UK and is known for its high-quality training and commitment to industry standards.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing and delivering AM2 assessments at a well-established training centre. This includes overseeing assessment operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and supporting candidates throughout their assessment journey.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and manage AM2 assessments in accordance with NET standards

Maintain accurate documentation, systems, and candidate records

Ensure all assessment resources and processes meet required quality levels

Support marketing efforts to promote centre usage

Provide professional support to apprentices, employers, and stakeholders

Stay current with industry developments and maintain centre compliance

Support internal and external audits and inspections
What We’re Looking For:
-
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent, e.g. C&G 2360 Part 1 & 2)

Up-to-date qualification aligned with BS 7671 (Wiring Regs)

Level 3 Certificate in Inspection & Testing (e.g. 2391 or 2394/2395)

Assessor qualification (D32, D33, A1)

Strong working knowledge of AM2 assessments and associated tools/documentation

In-date First Aid at Work certification

Effective communication, presentation, and IT skills
-
Practical post-qualification experience in the electrical industry
Desirable:

Teaching qualification (e.g. Certificate in Education)

Verifier qualification (D34 or V1)

Emergency First Aid qualification
-
Experience delivering electrical installation training
