Job Title: Engineering Course Leader (Tutor)
Location: Swadlincote
Hours: Full time – 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £34,948 + Additional Benefits
Additional Benefits:
- £4,500 Golden Hello payment (staged over 3 years)
- Annual bursary of up to £1,800 (qualification level dependent)

A respected and forward-thinking training provider in Swadlincote is seeking a qualified, committed, and enthusiastic Engineering Course Leader to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the next generation of engineers through delivering and leading full-time programmes with a focus on quality, innovation, and student success.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Teaching and leading on a range of Engineering and Manufacturing programmes
- Delivering practical and theory-based sessions aligned to your technical expertise
- Motivating and guiding learners through effective and engaging delivery methods
- Using your industry knowledge to provide real-world context and support learner development
- Contributing to curriculum planning and quality assurance
What We’re Looking For:
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience in Engineering and Manufacturing
- Technical skills in machining; CNC experience is desirable
- A relevant Higher Education qualification in Engineering (or related subject)
- Appropriate teaching and assessing qualifications (or a willingness to work towards them)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- A passion for education and empowering learners
