Maths Lecturer
(Part time, 26 or 30 Hours/Week, Permanent)
Salary: £32,304 – £49,933 per annum (pro rata)
Location: 26 hours – Blaenau Gwent / 30 hours – Torfaen and Usk

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Maths Lecturer to join a forward-thinking team. This is an excellent opportunity to support and challenge learners across a range of abilities while contributing to the development of a dynamic curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons
  • Use innovative teaching strategies to engage and support learners
  • Assess, track, and report on learner progress
  • Adapt teaching to suit a diverse student population
  • Support curriculum development and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
  • Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one
  • Experience teaching Maths at GCSE, A-Level, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to inclusive education and learner success
