💷 £20,906 – £23,893 (pro rata) | 🕒 28 hours per week

Are you a passionate maths educator looking to make a real difference? I’m currently working on behalf of a Training Provider looking for a qualified and passionate Maths Tutor to join their high-performing team.

This is a permanent, part-time teaching role focused on delivering both GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to learners across three West Midlands centres, with flexibility for admin from home.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons (GCSE & Functional Skills)

• Tailor sessions to individual learner needs, supporting their confidence and progression

• Complete and review Individual Learning Plans with SMART targets

• Collaborate with vocational teams to improve learner retention and success

• Carry out assessments and ensure all admin meets awarding body requirements

• Inspire learners to see maths differently and prepare them for work or further study

🔍 About the Role

You’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking English & Maths division, delivering sessions that inspire learners and help them build confidence in maths – a vital stepping stone to their next stage in life or work.

🗓 Working pattern:

• 1 day/week at Sheldon Centre

• 1 day/week at Coventry Centre

• 1 day/week at Wolverhampton Centre

• 5.5 hours flexible admin time from home

✅ What They’re Looking For

To be considered, you’ll need:

• A 2+ years’ experience teaching GCSE or Functional Skills Maths

• A Level 3 Maths specialism

• A recognised teaching qualification (min. Level 3)

• A full UK driving licence

• A learner-first, inclusive approach to teaching and learning
