Unqualified: £30,282 – £33,058 per annum (plus £2,000 annual Market Rate Allowance)

Qualified (L3 TAQA or equivalent): £32,102 – £35,037 per annum (plus £4,000 annual MRA)

Qualified (L4 TAQA or equivalent): £34,035 – £37,141 per annum (plus £4,000 annual MRA)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of apprentices and work-based learners, planning and delivering high-quality assessments aligned to apprenticeship standards and frameworks.

Support learners in achieving their qualifications on time through effective coaching, review meetings, and practical support.

Liaise with employers to ensure training meets industry needs and standards.

Maintain accurate records of learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Promote a positive learning environment, both in the college and in the workplace.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Recent, relevant industry experience within the engineering sector.
-
Hands-on, high-level technical skills in your trade area.

A minimum of Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent).

A Level 3 or 4 Assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA), or willingness to work towards this within 6 months.

A passion for education and the ability to motivate and inspire learners to achieve their best.
