We are currently recruiting for a Training Coordinator – Plumbing to join our Construction team, reporting to the Construction Group Training Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the development of plumbing apprentices from induction through to completion, playing a key role in shaping their technical skills, knowledge, and career success.
πΉ Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth initial assessments and track learner progress throughout their apprenticeship

Coordinate end-to-end apprenticeship journeys in Plumbing: from induction and training to review and completion

Deliver, assess and evaluate competence-based training against current industry standards

Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to apprentices to ensure successful and timely progression

Collaborate with employers to ensure strong workplace learning and monitor health & safety practices
-
Maintain records and learner evidence aligned with awarding body and funding requirements
-
Support curriculum development and participate in internal quality assurance and verification
-
Actively contribute to programme design to meet employer and sector needs

We’re looking for a qualified and experienced training professional who thrives on supporting learners and ensuring excellence in work-based learning delivery.
Essential Requirements:

QCF Level 3 (or above) in Plumbing or relevant sector area

A1 or TAQA Assessor qualification

GCSE (A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths

Experience delivering and assessing apprenticeships in the Plumbing or Construction sector

In-depth understanding of apprenticeship standards and funding rules

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work flexibly, manage a caseload and travel across the region
Desirable:

PTLLS, V1 Verifier Award or L4+ qualification in Plumbing

Coaching/mentoring or management qualifications

Experience working with awarding bodies or in a curriculum development role
