Are you a skilled fabrication and welding professional looking for a dynamic role in education? Our esteemed FE college in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assessor. While prior educational training experience is not mandatory, possessing assessor qualifications will be highly advantageous.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating, designing, delivering, and developing study programs for learners and apprentices across multiple settings: college, workplace, and employer premises.
- Developing best practices in learning, teaching, and assessment, ensuring consistency and high standards.
- Assessing learner/apprentice competence, knowledge, and understanding in alignment with college and awarding body assessment criteria.
- Contributing to the design and development of both part-time and full-time programs.
- Designing, developing, and monitoring resources tailored for effective learner use.
Benefits and Salary:
- Up to £42,000 salary depending on experience. (To achieve the highest salary, applicants must have Teaching qualifcation (FE specific)
- Lecturers 23.6% contribution to a contributory average salary pension scheme. Assessors will recieve a 5% pension.
